Watch dogs, the game of Ubisoft Montreal creates a brand new view and experience in open-world and roleplay games. It is a journey to the cyber world which is bigger, more powerful and has more connections to our life than anybody of us expected.
This game is based on a story of a British hacker, named Aiden Pearce, who can hack into various electronic devices and use the city’s own power against criminals and the police. He had moved to Chicago before he has started his own war against the police and the criminals.

Ubisoft has imagined and created a brand new gamestyle in Chicago city which is fully dynamic and full of opportunities.

The ctOS is for real! Smart cities are here!

There is no operating system for a city with the name ctOS, but nowadays every big city has or will have a synchronised computers system, these control traffic lights, the underground and some other systems like 3G access. With a system like this gets the city everyday updates and good management abilities.

In Watch Dogs we will see things beyond that. Chicago is one of the very best places for a game like this. The city has video cameras everywhere and a complicated auto-manage system. Who breach in the system will have the full control over the city: traffic lights, gates, cameras and the city’s main generators. We can just hope there is no-one on the globe who is capable of a strike like that.

What makes Watch Dogs great?

Maybe the city with full of opportunities, chances and the ability to choose our path in the fight. We can be criminals or heroes it is all depend on us what we do and how we do it. Chase down gangsters or let them go by disable the police. Helping people in trouble, chasing down criminals and disappearing in dust. We are going to be able to drive cars, hijack the metro or withdraw some bucks from the other people’s bank accounts.

Where can I get a view of the ctOS?

See the power of the data here: http://wearedata.watchdogs.com/

The developers said that no mapping was made and we can barely see that the 15 people in the website team really did a great creating this site. We can see Paris, London and Berlin with their live informations and statistics (traffic lights, available networks, incomes and etc).
Stay tuned for more Watch Dogs very soon, the game will be available in shops on November 19th, 2013.
