We got three new gameplay trailers from the team at Rocksteady. Our favorite superhero, Batman is back to put the bad guys back to where they belong to, as always. This time he is a bit late for the party, he only comes out on 2th June with the Batman: Arkham Knight episode. These 3 videos are looking so cinematic, while they were captured in-game.
All the old gameplay features are here, and this time we will get our hands on the impressive and massively powerful Batmobile. As we can see from the video, the vehicle will be much more, than a special vehicle for a few main and side missions. This time we can drive that tank freely on the streets of the (evacuated) city.
The graphics improvements and the kill chains are looking impressive, not speaking about the map design and the various new enemy types, which could really mix up the gameplay.
After watching these three, mainly promotional videos, I think that Rocksteady has really done a great job expanding this, fairly new, but already grown-up and fascinating series.
A new Story, a new Batcave
The story takes place one year after the death of Joker and during the events of the game, Batman: Arkham City. It begins on Halloween night, after a bomb was planted under the peaceful city of Gotham.
All the 6 million residents get evacuated and only the criminals decide to stay. Our playground Gotham, will be around five times of the Arkham City prison and the city will be split into 3 islands with many various districts. The redesigned Batcave will be located at Gotham City’s Clocktower.
