A new gameplay trailer came out from Ubisoft of the game Assassin’s Creed: Rogue. Rogue is an Assassin’s Creed game just as Unity, but this year Unity is the publisher’s major game and it was only released for PC and for the new gen consoles, while Rogue sticks with the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3, but it will be also released on PC later on.

As far as look and the feel go, Rogue is between Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed III. The game takes place slightly before Assassin’s Creed III and it adds a little more information to the Kenway storyline (Connor, Edward, Haytham) which we have seen before in the previous years.

There are also new features, tools and weapons, which bring some unique feel to the game. The air rifle (sleeping, darts, berserk darts – we have seen them in Black Flag, and the sleeping gas which is present in Unity). This time the old bombs are back from Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (cherry bombs, sleeping bombs, etc.).

Our new ship, the Morrican is pretty similar to the Jackdaw, but instead of dropping powder barrels we are able to use Greek fire to annihilate enemy ships. The old swivel guns were also replaced with some more deadly 18th century machine guns.
