Space Hulk: Deathwing is receiving an upgraded version, called the “Enhanced Edition” on May 22nd to PC and Playstation 4, so just about 2 months from today.
The game will include a brand-new customization system for characters and weapons alike, along with all the updates which were released for the game on PC are going to come to console as well.
The Enhanced Edition will be available for purchase upon release, however those who bought Space Hulk: Deathwing already on steam will receive the new game free of charge.
According to the devs the game will Not include microtransactions, because all of the items will be earned entirely in-game while playing and completing missions.
It is a welcomed change and it somewhat gives the game a new purpose and perhaps makes some people who missed the game or haven’t picked it up make it enough interesting to validate a purchase.
