First I would like to inform you about why there is this very long timegap between the released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. If you have played with GTA V on PlayStation 3 or on Xbox 360 you already know that there are some glitches, bugs and even texture problems in the game. To be really honest I got no chance to play the game, but I know exactly about these problems, because I have seen a ton of freeroam and gameplay videos on YouTube, but I have tried not to watch missions and walkthroughs, because I want to face and play the game in my own way.
Off topic: Before I got the first episode of Assassin’s Creed, I have watched every single video about that game. After I installed it, it took about 5-7 hours to play it through, and because I have seen every single story and gameplay elements, I was far more than confident playing the game, but I felt that I was missing out all the fun part.
So I decided not to do that before I play games in the future.
Here you can see some examples of the beautiful textures and lightning effects from the PS3/XBOX360 version of the game:
Don’t get me wrong, I do love GTA 5 and I love the whole series, but I think many people wouldn’t be satisfied with these effects and textures or a bit better graphics on $1500 PCs or on the new consoles. Rockstar Games wants to prove us that they are able to make amazing graphics better than anybody out there, and they will pull it off, no doubt about it. And that’s why I started to respect the Rockstar team more, and I think you should too.
After the long intro, let’s talk about the new trailer!
The title informs you about everything, but I do want to tell you what I am nearly sure why. It’s E3 the festival of video games!
Let’s see about previous year:
It’s maybe more than very likely that they will blow us away with the next-gen (or maybe at the moment current generation graphics) on today night or on early tomorrow, but at least on this week. We know that they are working on the game since the its release to the old consoles. According to the standard development process, they are likely finished with the major graphical enhancements and they are on the way to make perfect the rest of the game. We can be sure that they will take part in the fun and we will get a trailer about the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC version of the game.
As I know Rockstar Games will be holding no press conference, none at all, but they still got plenty firepower with their YouTube channel and because of their fans (count me in)!
It would be the perfect timing and a great opportunity to publish a great YouTube video about the next-gen version of the already released Grand Theft Auto V to show all the other gaming companies that they are still in the game, and the fans that they are working on it tirelessly.
Stay hype people, this whole waiting has come to an end! :D
7 hours ago Rockstar games confirmed in this video that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One this fall. The trailer was released some hours later than I predicted. As you can see, Rockstar games did a very nice job remaking the textures, adding sharp shadows, improving the lightning effects, adding some visuals to the waves of the sea and to the weather too.
