We got a new hero, a hero who was created exclusively for this game, Batman: Arkham Knight, whose name is “Arkham Knight” which sounds a bit strange, but Batman’s other name is Dark Knight, which explains it.

In the video we can see a complete army acting as one and executing the protocol, bringing poison into the chemical facitlity. So we know that this “Arkham Knight” has a lot of elite military force with tanks and modern equipment, but is he a billionaire, like Bruce Wayne? Is he a guy just like him? Maybe his mother and dad were murdered at his young age, and after has he become the opposite of Batman? Interesting questions.

The character in question has a pretty high-tech custom suit and a signature full-head helmet. He also uses deadly weapons as handguns and machine guns.

Under that cool helmet

Personally I do not think that we will be seeing someone familiar from either DC comics or previous Batman games under that dark helmet. I would also highly doubt if Batman would ever remove his main opponent’s helmet to get to know his identity. I think they will show each-other some mutual respect, they won’t even be interested in who is under the other suit. They will be fighting for supremacy and for the city and they will try to eliminate every threat who crosses their roads from a simple street soldier to the other main character.

Where is Catwoman? Huh?!

One other main question rises with the introduction of the new character among many others: Who will be that guy who gets help from Catwoman? Batman? The Arkham Knight? Both? Maybe none of them?!

And an other thing: Will we be seeing some romantic lines of the storyline? Yeah, I know, in the past Batman was acting like a straight person, but: We know that Batman and Talia al Ghul (assassin) are close to each other, and what about the Arkham Knight and Catwoman? We all know that the kitty likes dangerous places.

After all I would not be surprised at all, if we play the first couple missions as the Arkham Knight, just to introduce us to the game, get some experience with the controls and the new features.

Batman against a “darker” Batman! That would be an amazing fight indeed. Batman faces a guy who is through-and-trough as though as him. We are looking forward to know more about the mysterious main antagonist of the game, the Arkham Knight.
